There are 6 crop squares in Mars Base Zero. Although they were
designed to be 12' by 12', (3.65 meter), the final size is up to 1.5 '
(1/2 meter) less due to the width of the walls and the fact they aren't
entirely square.
We labled them A to F for easy identification. The A square is
the north-western corner (ie upper left if you are looking at a diagram
with north to the top). B is just to the south of that. C
is the northern center square, D is to the south of that. E is
the north-eastern corner, and F is the south eastern corner.
We wrote a description and history about the squares:
We try to keep track of our crop plans:
- 1999: square D planted in potatoes
- 2000: fallow (not planted)
- 2001: fallow (not planted)
- 2002
- 2003: fallow (not planted)
- 2004:
